ARE YOU OUT OF YOUR MIND ! YOU SHOULD NOT SERVE OVERNIGHT FOOD THAT ARE FEW DAYS OLD. This is not a good place for Jamaican Food. These must be bogus reviews because my experience on June 6, 2014, was an unpleasant one!!! the lady brought me a bowl of stale overnight water-down red peas soup with a disgusting taste. I had to run out of the restaurant as fast as I could without waiting for the rest of the order. There must have been a different cook in the past that these reviews are referring to. I bet you that you will not be a repeat customer if you visit any time soon!!!! I was very hungry and purchased a piece of potato pudding that tasted awful, then came the red peas soup that I had a spoonful and had to leave it on the table

Second visit, displeased both times. The spice levels were too high not able to taste the flavors. First visit I ordered Oxtails and today I ordered Curried Goat. And they do not make porridge.

Welp, this will be my last time coming here. I've had issues in the past, stingy with the cause, no greetings, workers always look upset, etc., but I was running errands and was hungry so I said let's give em one last shot. Well I did and again was dissatisfied. Had to ask for more oxtails sauce. The rice and peas was not flavorful. The oxtails did not taste like it was worth $20 for the little you get. The plantains tasted as if they were made hrs ago. Did I mention the oxtails were not flavorful and didn't taste like they cost $20. Lastly I'm all for equal opportunity but when I go to a jamaican spot, I'm not looking for an Asian to be back there. Then again it shouldn't matter but our people need to hire our people. Learn to pool our resources together. Matter of fact I changed my rating to a 2 star. Because I have to respect someone that's been in business this long. Also, I cut up some raw onions and put on oxtails due to the lack of flavor. Not trying to through shade...I'm just being real.

So, this was my first time trying Jamaican food at a Jamaican restaurant. My boyfriend ordered the oxtail plate I was so unsure if I would like anything I told him to order only his food and he suggested that I buy in try a beef patty. I have to say I completely enjoyed the spicy yet not overwhelming flavor of the beef patty and the flaky crust. I also have to say, that his oxtail plate was delicious the rice the fried biscuit and especially the very Savory oxtail was so good I made him turn around and order another plate. I appreciate the experience and the good food definitely if this is the first time try,l for you lije it was for me, you should go here you won't be unsatisfied.
